Fundraise through Capital and Business Alliance with Multiple Companies

IMPACTLAKE (official name: IMPACTLAKE Pte. Ltd., Representative: Reona Sekino) has fundraised through a capital and business alliance with multiple companies, including Edge International, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshitaka Aso), as well as investments from individuals.

Through this partnership and investment, IMPACTLAKE and its partners will promote, support, and accelerate impact management—the visualization and management of the social value of activities and businesses—for all organizations, including corporations and investors, aiming to maximize corporate value and social impact.

Comments

Every company operates its business as a valuable entity for society. While that value is initially measured by the metric of “profit,” that profit is ultimately only a result. On the other hand, when evaluating a company from a long-term perspective, the story of enhancing corporate value becomes crucial, though it tends to be somewhat qualitative. Our firm has supported client companies’ disclosure and communication by logically articulating this story for investors. Through this investment in the company, we will further strengthen that story both qualitatively and quantitatively. Furthermore, through building an impact platform in collaboration with the company, we envision supporting not only listed companies but also unlisted companies nationwide in enhancing their corporate value. Together with the company, we will contribute to enhancing and creating corporate value and social value from the realm of disclosure and communication, applying a multifaceted perspective encompassing investor viewpoints, impact viewpoints, ESG viewpoints, and management viewpoints.
